Marika Kuula's Testimonial
By Marika Kuula
October 2009, was my first encounter of attending a women’s Open House, which was hosted by Gaye Hallman. At the time I really did not know Gaye, but out of a desire to fellowship with other women,
I attended this event. What I experienced was an overwhelming sense of being accepted and valued for who I was. Over the years I attended many such Open House gatherings. “No matter what my life circumstances presented at the time, I always left these meetings feeling refreshed, empowered and hopeful”.
Gaye Hallman has a unique gift for helping women recognize and appreciate their individual unique gifts, given them by God. As a leader she has great understanding of issues which women face. Her compassion and commitment to help others be accountable to grow and fulfill their destiny, has guided many women into becoming free in their identity as strong, healthy community participants. I am grateful that she had courage to pioneer the movement of Open House. My experiences through it helped to make me who I am today!
